2017 Day 2 Report

Day 2 started with cooler weather and the beginning of daylight saving.

Teams were eager to continue their round robin games and then moving on to their final. Every team got to play a final against an evenly ranked opponent to finish the tournament.

All games were played in a wonderful spirit, with good sportsmanship showed at all times, especially when players were hurt. Thank you.

At the end of the day we had some sore and tired players but all with smiles on their faces. And each player went home with an Oceania Cup boot bag and drink bottle and some rejuvenating Tea Tree soap - thanks to Thursday Plantation!

See the results page for finals results and photos.

Also see the article in the Northern Star newspaper here.

Alstonville FC would like to thank all teams who participated, the match officials, and all our wonderful volunteers who made it happen! See you all again next year (and don't forget to nominate early).

2017 Update

Hi everyone, we hope you are all looking forward to this years Oceania Cup!

Just to let you know we are now just about at capacity, with only one place left in the Open A and Open B pools. The junior pools are already full. So any teams wishing to go on a waiting list just let us know.

Also just a reminder that each player needs to register on myfootballclub for the tournament. Click here for instructions.

Note the difference between registering as a 'Registered' or 'Unregistered' player. Only those who played in the regular season for a club within NNSWF (Newcastle up to Pottsville) can register as 'Registered' players (at no cost).

All others who didn't play in the regular season or played outside NNSWF must register as 'Unregistered' players and pay a small fee. But note that a club can apply to their zone for permission to 'travel' and be exempt from paying the fee.

If you are confused just contact us to clarify (but read the 'Player Registration Instructions' page first)

See you all in three weeks!
